What could go wrong? A 6.5-litre V12 producing 740bhp, and a racetrack teeming with water. When the water got bored with teeming it just hung around in puddles. However, the Lambo has a load of safety gear and also four-wheel steering, so the plan was to stay on track and not go waltzing off. Our laps were enlivened not only by the crisp road of that naturally aspirated old-school V12, but by the strobe-like blinking of the traction control system.

However, gentle throttle applications and a well-sorted car, even in Sport or the honestly named Ego mode, meant we had some hope of getting round intact. Some hope.
