With aluminium construction, hi-tech hybrid running gear producing a combined 573bhp, and super-sleek supercar styling, on paper the NSX certainly sounds worth the wait. Its mid-mounted 500bhp 3.5-litre twin-turbo V6 is allied to three electric motors – one at the back, which provides low-speed torque while the turbos are spooling up, and the other two at each front wheel, giving four-wheel drive and torque-vectoring capability.
