I can't decide. I live and train in Oregon at the moment, but London is still my home. I just moved to America last year. I still miss British TV shows.

Where do you live in London?
Hampton in West London. It's got loads of nice parks to run in. People forget how much green space there is with Hyde Park, Regent's Park and others. It's great for runners.

What's your earliest London memory?
I arrived from Somalia when I was eight years old and didn't speak much English. I went to school at Feltham Community College. My main memory is playing football and wanting to play for Arsenal.

What's the first thing you do when you arrive back in London?
I find a quiet café, sit down and have a nice cup of English tea.

What's the best meal you've had in London?
I love going to Nando's in Richmond. I always have half a chicken and two sides. It's reasonably healthy. I'm always looking for Italian restaurants to take the family to.

What's your biggest extravagance?
Probably my Apple MacBook. It's amazing.

What advice would you give a tourist?
Go to the Tower of London and Big Ben. They are iconic sights but they are worth it. Also, walk round the Museum of London and the Natural History Museum. Sometimes when you live in London you ignore the obvious things, but I like going on the London Eye. My daughter Rihanna absolutely loves it.

What would you do as Mayor for a day?
Get more people running by building a running track where you can go from one side of London to the other without getting bothered by cars or bikes. A lot of people jog in London but the roads are so busy.

What's the most romantic thing someone's done for you in London?
Marry me! I got married in Richmond Hill. I've known my wife Tania since school. Unfortunately, our honeymoon to Zanzibar was disrupted by the ash cloud. I ended up going to the mountains to train and she flew back to London.

Where are the best places to run in London?
I like running in Bushy Park. Richmond Park is great, too. You can't beat it on a Sunday afternoon when it is full of joggers and families having fun.

Which shops do you rely on?
You can't go wrong shopping on Oxford Street. Some people hate it, but I love walking up and down and looking in the shops. I have a sweet tooth so I'm always in the sweet shops. I go to Nike Town to stock up on gear.

What do you think of the Olympic Stadium in Stratford?
It's brilliant, as is the Olympic Park. It's special to have an Olympics anywhere, but to have it on my own doorstep is even better. We have a great sports history in London with Wembley and the London Marathon and this will make it even better.
