The front of the car is unchanged from the Civic saloon, but from the windscreen back it’s all new and has an Adaptive Damper System on the rear suspension to maximise comfort and stability. As well as three ride settings, the system checks road surface and load every 10 milliseconds and adds as much or as little damping as required. The loadspace includes a 120-litre compartment below the boot floor, enabling the Tourer to carry objects up to a metre high. The “Magic” seating system allows rear seats to be configured in several ways and create a flat loading surface.
