Betsy Bond from Wiltshire, who holds the world record for the largest knitting needles at 4.4 metres long – says: “Everybody has potential if you just keep striving and pushing forward. Give it a go, what’s the worst that can happen?”

The global authority on record-breaking achievements has today released the 2019 edition of its beloved book.

This year there are a number of wacky records, like Bibi the cat who holds the record for the most dice balanced on a cats paw and Josh Horton who holds the record for balancing a guitar on his forehead for the longest time.
