The unveiling of the White House Christmas decorations is always a hotly anticipated event in the holiday calendar. But, much like First Lady Melania Trump's other public outings this year, the 2018 decor was also a bit of a PR misfire.
You might recall the horror-movie comparisons made last year about Melania's stark choice of Christmas decorations.
This year it was the row of red trees the First Lady picked which caught the attention of Twitter.
There were a fair few pop culture references...
Others just found the trees a little much
Some were simply nostalgic for the Obama decor (any excuse)
But no matter what you think of the trees, they certainly got people talking...
