Self-isolation sessions: Singer-songwriter Soko shares 'mellow music' for at-home Spotify playlist

If you're looking for a playlist - either to listen to with family in the comfort of your own home or completely alone - some of Insider's favorite musicians are sharing the music that's getting them through it.

Today we have Soko, born Stéphanie Sokolinski, listing her favorite tracks, from an Elliot Smith number to a Yo La Tengo jam.

The French-born indie pop singer-songwriter and actress recently dropped a new music video for her song 'Are You a Magician?' which is also a favorite at her house at the moment.

Here's what Soko had to say about her self-isolation playlist:

I’m doing quarantine with my girlfriend Stella and our baby, Indigo Blue.

We’ve mostly been listening to mellow music - lots of shoegaze and psychedelic too.

Indigo just started recognizing my new song 'Are You a Magician?' and each time he hears it he says, 'Mama' and 'Encore!' so I had to put it on the playlist.

I love the Black Lips’ new song and the new King KruLe record too.

Jacco Gardner always puts me in the best mood.
