As a house guest, what’s appropriate to give your hosts?
A break? Supermarket flowers and a bottle of plonk won’t quite cut it. So how about a different kind of bottle, such as Aesop’s Resurrection hand wash (above, £27)? Talking of gifts, while shopping for my wife’s birthday, I came across Sonic Editions, a London site selling iconic limited-edition prints sourced from archives around the world, such as this one of Paul Newman in Venice (above). A perfect present for her (me).(soniceditions.com)
