But do not try this at home. ‘If you’re under 30, stick to pork pie hats, which can be worn casually,’ advises designer and mad hatter Bayode Oduwole (pokit.co.uk). ‘Over 30, go to Lock & Co on St James’s Street for a trilby or Borsalino [at Harrods] for a fedora, worn with a smart overcoat.
