President Jimmy Carter because he’s the perfect Southern gentleman.
What do you most like wearing?
Being Texan, it would be jeans, particularly those designed by my daughter Georgia.
Which is your favourite London club?
The Groucho because it’s so sleazy.
Have you ever had a run-in with a policeman?
No, I love policemen! Most of the men in my family are law enforcement officers, Texas Rangers and sheriffs.
Where did you last go on holiday?
I went to Perth in Australia for Easter to stay at my boyfriend’s house. We spent a couple of days on his boat around Rottnest Island. I read Jeanette Winterson’s new book, Why Be Happy When You Could Be Normal? while fishing. It was heaven.
What would you do as Mayor for a day?
Give everyone free ice cream.
