London’s first rooftop hula hooping classes to launch at the Berkeley hotel
This summer’s hula hooping fitness craze continues with the news that the Berkeley Hotel is set to launch London’s first rooftop hula hooping masterclasses at its Health Club and Spa.
The Knightsbridge hotel will host weekly 60-minute masterclasses for up to six hula hoopers in the rooftop spa from Wednesday June 17 until October 28 2015.
Expect not only a 101 in all things hula by the fitness experts HulaFit® but a playful workout with serious health benefits: from burning up to 600 calories an hour to strengthening the shoulders, bottoms, thighs and calves.
Plus, you can expect to learn the tricks of the trade, beginning with the basic ‘Waist Hooping’, progressing to ‘Turning & Pirouettes’, ‘The Limbo’, ‘The Vortex’, ‘Body Wraps’ and ending with the ‘Booty Bump’. Oh, and you get to take your hoop home.
