Bluebird Chelsea to launch Boom Cycle spinning classes

Restaurant chain D&D London is planning to boost revenues by capitalising on the capital’s fitness and food obsession, introducing spin classes at celebrity haunt Bluebird it said today.

Bluebird on The King’s Road is better known for being the venue of choice for Made In Chelsea TV stars to swig champagne and devour lobster and steak.

But from March it is trialling a different fitness partner monthly to work on new events, kicking off with a BOOMCycle Partnership.

Customers will pay £28 for a class followed by brunch with guest speakers.

Jean-Baptiste Requien, Bluebird senior manager told the Standard the sessions would help customers “to continue with their New Year’s fitness resolutions and encourage general wellbeing”. The British fitness industry is worth some £4.3 billion.

D&D said it will consider rolling out these tie-ups to other London restaurants if the classes at Bluebird are popular.
