My best mate Kerry Norton, who’s an actress and now lives in LA. She’s very well-connected.
What do you collect?
If I had unlimited funds, I would collect art. I would love to own an original Hockney.
Best advice you’ve been given?
The actress Stephanie Beacham told me and Alesha Dixon when we were on Strictly Come Dancing: ‘Do whatever you want in life, but remember it will always come back to bite you on the ass.’ It was a story about her posing topless and losing a contract because of it years later.
Building you’d most like to be locked in overnight?
For comfort, the bed department of Harrods, and for penthouse views, a pod on the London Eye.
Building you’d most like to live in?
The Art Deco 45 Park Lane, by The Dorchester.
At the moment you are…
Doing BBC sports coverage and I’ve been working with Disney on an educational campaign to get the most out of the internet for children.
Who’s your hero?
My husband. He was chronically dyslexic at school and left at 16 with no qualifications. It brings him to tears listening to our children read fluently.
