It was Birley in bloom at Annabel’s, where Dior threw a dinner for favourite English roses Anaïs Gallagher and Lady Mary Charteris. Flowerbx rose to the occasion with hydrangeas galore, and Chablis by the jeroboam ensured all were well watered.

Off to Sarah-Jane Gaselee’s to celebrate Rosie Assoulin’s high-summer capsule collection for Net-A-Porter. Table talk centred on everyone’s new favourite royal fashion plate, while the actual supper was served by Tart London, English Garden gin cocktails flowed freely and guests snaffled the table arrangements — by bright young thing Picnic Productions — to take home.
