Flashbulb: party pictures from around town

Sadly no one brought a bag big enough to smuggle out the giant bottle of Chanel No 5 Red Edition that presided over one hell of a perfume party at Annabel’s. Lily-Rose Depp, Clara Paget and Anne-Marie arrived in a fleet of crimson Chanel taxis to drink Forbidden Fruit cocktails and nibble lobster salad while the super-cool Pedro Winter DJed.

And they were off, as Lady Violet Manners and Frankie Herbert galloped into The Dorchester to paint the town Cartier red at the 28th Cartier Racing Awards. The best horses of the year were announced over Dorset crab and Hereford beef fillet, while Patrick Grant perused the Racing Post.

Fairy light klaxon: if they’re not neon, you’re no one, as Christopher Kane proved when he unveiled his glow stick extravaganza of a Christmas terrace at Scott’s. Lara Stone, Christabel MacGreevy and Edie Campbell toasted the tree with whisky-spiked More Joy cocktails and banoffee cheesecake.
