Since its launch in Summer 2012, the London Collections Men showcase has proved season after season that men, and in particular those from our capital, are taking fashion more seriously.
With 65 designers showing on schedule and 65 designers in the Designer Showrooms - the latter of which will be located under one roof at Victoria House - season highlights are likely to come from internationally acclaimed brands such as Alexander McQueen, JW Anderson, Burberry, Topman and Coach.
Opening the four-day showcase was Topman, who took us on a - hypothetical - trip to the North last season with a collection brimming with updated 21st century versions of the bomber jackets and wide-leg trousers that once served as a uniform for revellers on Wigan Pier.

With the men’s clothing market seeing a rise in sales by 22% in the last five years to reach £13.5bn in 2014, it is growing at a faster rate than womenswear and is no doubt driven in part by the growing interest and dedication of retailers for their menswear lines.

New additions in the Designer Showrooms this season include Mackintosh and BOY London - who are celebrating their 40th anniversary.
LCM Ambassador - and 10th best-dressed man in Britain - David Gandy will also make his first appearance at the showcase, presenting his footwear collection for David Preston London.
