Jigsaw's organic tweed

If there were an award to be given to the most wholesome fashion store on the high street, then Jigsaw, owned by organic farmer John Robinson and his wife Belle, would be a deserving winner.

Adding to their already cuddly image, this month marks the launch of Jigsaw's own organic tweed line. Woven from wool farmed on a Soil Association-approved farm on Scotland's remote Isle of Mull, the range features a bubble-hemmed skirt, a blazer and this lovely loose-fit coat. £495 (www.jigsaw-online.com)

Brand new Barbour

Barbour, a brand once loved solely by the Parker Bowles family and their fellow upmarket country folk, is back in the city and well and truly back in style. Dalston boys love the quilted jackets while shaggy-haired celebrities opt for a waxed style with a corduroy collar.

In acknowledgement of this renaissance, Barbour has opened its very first heritage store just off Carnaby Street. Doing his bit for the Malaria No More charity, celebrity jeweller Stephen Webster has created an eye-catching mosquito ring cut from white gold and featuring ruby cabochons and diamonds.

But while that ring is a one-off piece set to fall onto the finger off a do-gooding celeb at an upcoming charity auction, there are 300 of these stunning replicas available exclusively at ASOS from Thursday.
