Levi's x Star Wars: a collaboration cool enough to tempt even a Star Wars novice

In 1977 in a galaxy far far away… Luke Skywalker put on a pair of jeans to shoot Star Wars, the first film in the blockbuster trilogy.

But these were not any old jeans. These were a pair of 29 inch waist, sand-coloured straight leg Levi’s.

While Skywalker’s jeans were auctioned in 2013 for $36,000, Star Wars fans will be pleased to know that Levi’s and Lucasfilm have partnered once again to design a Star Wars theme capsule to commemorate the final chapter of the Skywalker Saga.

The Levi’s x Star Wars collection has been timed to coincide with the release of Star Wars: The Rise of The Skywalker, the conclusion to the saga, which hits theatres in December. The collaboration features a range of tees, hoodies, jeans and denim jackets, all of which have been given an intergalactic makeover.
