Review: Venus Freeze

What’s the buzz? I’m going to cut to the chase. This is the best facial I’ve had this year and possibly ever. It gave me smooth, bright skin and ironed my eye bags out and the results lasted for a couple of days; I’m told they’d be more permanent with further treatment. I was asked later that evening if I’d done my make-up differently as it looked better than usual; I hadn’t, but I had a smoother and brighter canvas on which to work after the facial.

Venus Freeze uses unique technology that pulsates across the skin, which activates the body’s natural healing response, encouraging new collagen and elastin fibres to form. In real terms that means more elasticity and more blood flow to the skin, giving skin a smoother and younger appearance. If you’re younger you can have the odd treatment to perk yourself up; if you’re older a course of treatments is recommended to work on your wrinkles. I’d go for a course of treatments because it’s brilliant and it feels really relaxing. Contrary to the name you don’t get frozen, you get covered in warm gunk and then beeped with a warm machine.
