Burberry reveal their Spring/Summer 2015 make-up collection

Burberry has unveiled its new make-up collection featuring silky pastel eye shadows and bright, sunny nail polishes perfect for banishing those winter blues.

The collection was inspired by colours on the catwalk in the Burberry Prorsum Womenswear SS15 ‘The Birds and the Bees’ runway collection, which featured a mix of sheer fabrics and high-powered hues.

Burberry will also release a special limited edition ‘Rain or Shine’ blush palette inspired by the hand-painted illustrations featured on this season’s runway collection.

Wendy Rowe, Artistic Consultant for Burberry Make-up, said: “This collection is all about colour. I love the contrast between the pastel hues of the eye shadows and the bolder, more vibrant nail colours. The collection features beautiful, easy to wear shades that perfectly compliment the skin and provide the honey glow we created for the SS15 runway look.”

The Burberry Eye Colour – Wet & Dry Silk Shadow, £22.50, was designed to blend easily for a versatile range of looks. As the name implies, they can be applied wet for an intense colour shock or dry for a more subdued, natural look and come in four different Spring-forward shades.

The limited edition Burberry Nail Polish, £15, comes in a range of six vibrant colours inspired by the SS15 runway collection. With names like Hydrangea Pink and Bright Coral Red, these fun hues nicely balance out the softer-toned shadows.

The limited edition Burberry Runway Blush Palette, £45, features shades of Pink Azalea, Bright Coral red and Hydrangea Pink with the words ‘Rain or Shine’ imprinted in the powder. Like the eye shadows, it was created to blend seamlessly for a runway-ready glow.
