Z Group poised for Aim float

INTERNET technology company Z Group plans to roll out its products across Europe and the US after its £20m flotation on the Alternative Investment Market later this month.

Z Group, founded by joint managing directors Jamie True and Jack Bekhor in 2002, hopes to raise about £3 million from the flotation, which is being handled by broker Panmure Gordon. This will help fund its expansion and add to its range of licensed and owned technology.

The profitable company has two products - Net2Roam, which enables customers to connect to the internet when abroad, and OnSpeed, which allows faster internet connections.

Another technology company, Bango, last week unveiled plans for a listing on AIM. The company, which helps businesses sell products to customers accessing the internet via their mobile phone, wants to raise £5m through a listing before the end of the month. The listing will value Bango at beetween £25m-£35m.
