Homes and Property | Home PageWomen need more sleepTony Bonnici12 April 2012Women get almost half as much sleep as men, a new survey shows.Reasons for restless nights include children, work stress, relationship concerns, household chores, money worries and pregnancy discomfort.The survey showed 78 per cent of women had not had a full night's sleep of nine hours in the last 12 months. Just over half had not had a full night's sleep in three years.Previous studies have reported that almost a third of people in Britain suffer from a sleep disorder of some kind.The new survey was carried out for skincare firm Eye Secrets as it launched collagen & Q10 Gell Eye patches.
