Twitterati foil north London dog-nappers

A stolen pedigree dog was given back after celebrities backed an appeal to find her.

Three-year-old pug Molly was taken from Crouch End on Friday and returned last night after Jonathan Ross, Bianca Jagger and Joanna Page appealed for help on Twitter.

Owner Catriona Fox, 27, tweeted after two men were seen leaving her house with the dog.

She said she was "over the moon" to have her back and thinks the publicity made them release Molly, who was found in a park in Enfield.

Ross tweeted last night: "We are so pleased she's home where she belongs x."
