Towards the end of last month parts of the UK basked in a heatwave, with London recording the hottest night in a decade as temperatures stayed above 22C all night.
The Eversheds lawyers at their Cambridge office, on Station Road, would surely have appreciated the refreshing cones as they sweltered in their suits and formalwear.
The firm’s spokeswoman added they are not sure whether the ice cream van stunt will be repeated. She added: “Or whether we’d have the right weather!”.
The law firm, whose London office is in Wood Street, also has bases in Birmingham, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Manchester and Belfast.
