I'm always exhausted by New Year so I'll be watching telly.

My pyjamas.

Ten minutes - I never have any time.

Make-up and hair

I pin my hair up under a hat and never brush it; make-up is Dr Hauschka moisturiser, Michael Kors glam bronzer and Bobby Brown black eyeshadow.

Contents of wardrobe

Twenty dresses and at least 25 pairs of shoes.

Fashion faux pas

I went to the Jamiroquai launch party a few months ago in a floor-length, white beaded Catherine Walker dress because Jay Kay had told me to dress up. When I arrived, everyone was in jeans. I felt like a real plum and left.

Best outfit

A short Pucci frock worn over white shorts with Christian Louboutin high heels.

Best Party

The designer Stephen Fairchild held an incredible birthday bash in Capri last summer.

Accessories

My hats, handbags from Anya Hindmarch, two large rings and shoes - anything from Christian Louboutin and Sergio Rossi.

A pair of Jimmy Choo Pucci print mules with Swarovski crystals, £350.

A pair of unworn Prada sandals from The Dress Box, £50.

New Year's Eve

I'm DJing at a huge party in Melbourne, then flying to Sydney to DJ on the beach on New Year's Day.

I'll be wearing

It's going to be really hot so a skimpy top will help keep me cool.

Preparation time

Five to 30 minutes.

Make-up and hair

MAC or Nars foundation, mascara, Nars gloss in sunset strip, Laura Mercier body glitter and Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat. My curly hair is the bane of my life; I blow-dry it, then straighten it.

Contents of wardrobe

Fifteen dresses and countless pairs of shoes.

Fashion faux pas

While I was DJing in Brazil, there was a tropical downpour. I had spent ages doing my hair and I was wearing a Buddhist Punk top and Dolce & Gabbana trousers but was soon covered in mud.

Best outfit

A flowery transparent dress from Dolce & Gabbana. It only comes out in Ibiza.

Best party

I spend most of my life in clubs but the best party was a barbecue in Ibiza last summer with friends.

Accessories

Mostly shoes - I love Gina, Jimmy Choo and Patrick Cox. A chunky, brown leather belt by Clements Ribeiro is another favourite.

Contents of handbag

Phone charger, sunglasses, car keys, Berocca vitamin, cheque book, Bloom lip gloss and lots of to-do lists.

Best shops for party frocks

Koh Samui, 65 Monmouth Street, WC2 (020 7240 4280) and Diverse, 294 Upper Street, N1 (020 7359 8877) for unusual designer pieces. I love Selfridges and Harvey Nichols and make one trip to Dolce & Gabbana, 6-8 Old Bond Street, W1 (020 7659 9000) every year.

Biggest splurge

My transparent Dolce dress: it cost £1,000 but I've had lots of wear out of it.

Best bargain

Pretty much everything else.

Pre-party pick-me-up

A can of Red Bull.

Top tipple

Vodka and tonic.

My 18-month-old son, Elwood, and I will be enjoying a big family shindig in Ireland. They really know how to party there.

A black-and-gold net cocktail dress from Jigsaw.

Preparation time

Thirty minutes max, including shower.

Make-up and hair

Hair is brushed and pinned up. Make-up takes longer as my young son tries to help me. Lipstick is always Chanel Rouge Star, plus YSL Touche Eclat and black mascara by Maybelline.

I arrived at the Burberry party dressed for a punk gig, though these days you can wear anything to anywhere.

My red vintage Ossie Clark dress; it cost £30.

The Louis Vuitton Car Classic - lots of vintage cars, bumper rides and all the champagne you could cope with.

Accessories

Fishnet tights with a seam, always high heels and Philip Treacy bags.

Chanel lipstick, credit card, enough cash to get home and house keys.
