Strictly judge steps out with flamenco musical

Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Harwood faces a taste of his own medicine with the opening of a new flamenco show.

As the toughest member on the panel of the BBC celebrity dance programme, Harwood has a reputation for cutting put-downs.

But now the Australian dancerturnedchoreographer will lay himself open to the critics with his production of Flamenco Flamen'ka at the Lyric Theatre. Based on the Jorge Louis Borges short story, The Intruder, it centres on the tale of two brothers, who fall in love with the same woman.

The TV judge has twice been nominated for a Laurence Olivier Award for his choreography, working on West End productions including West Side Story and Miss Saigon. The show runs for eight weeks from 18 September.
