It's made Manolo Blahnik a household name, warned us about toxic bachelors, given us some of the most raunchy TV moments ever and made famous the phrase "I couldn't help but wonder..." - but from this Friday, Sex and the City is no more!

Yes, the world in which a newspaper journalist can earn enough to kit herself out in new designer togs every day, and where four high-powered women regularly find the time to meet up for brunch is about to bid adieu.

The final instalment of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte and Samantha's adventures airs on Friday, and while many of us have been desperately trying not to find out what happens to our gal in New York (or Paris), we thought it was high time to celebrate the fabulousness that was — and always will be — SATC!
