Homes and Property | Home PageSearch for car linked to student killingClue: the BMW caught on a traffic cameraRob Singh|Evening Standard12 April 2012Detectives investigating the murder of university student Michael Jones have today released CCTV footage of a car thought to have been used by his killer.The car is a blue three series BMW (318 saloon SE) with the registration N118 FLA.The 18-year-old was battered and stabbed to death at the home he shared with his mother Kathleen Kirby-Jones in Edmonton.Ms Kirby-Jones realised someone was still in the maisonette after she found her son's body and was forced to barricade herself in a room. He fled when she called the police on her mobile.The car has been missing since 15 March, two days after the murder. It was picked up by a camera in Harlesden. It may be being stored in the Wembley, Willesden or Harlesden area. A 45-yearold man has been charged with murder.
