Homes and Property | Home PagePolice probe Victoria firearms incidentEmma Owen|Staff Reporter13 April 2012A man was rushed to hospital after police were called to what is thought to be an armed robbery at a pub in Victoria.A large area around the bus station and Buckingham Palace Road has been cordoned off as police investigate the incident at the Shakespeare Tavern.Police said a male member of staff at the pub has been injured and taken to hospital but would not say whether any shots had been fired.A police spokesman said: "Police were called at 6.30 to an armed incident at the Shakespeare Tavern in Victoria."One male member of staff was injured and has been taken to hospital.
