Norton gets car back after radio plea

Graham Norton has got his stolen car back after appealing to his fans to help him find it.

The black Lexus hybrid 4x4 was stolen from outside his home in Wapping on Friday night.

After discovering the theft when he returned home in the early hours of Saturday, Norton, 48, asked listeners to his Radio 2 show later that day to look out for the vehicle.

He said: "The car was definitely left outside my house, I got back yesterday and remember parking it because I'm not very good at parking. Keep your eyes out for it. It was filthy by the way."

The car was found within hours seven miles away on the James Haywood Estate, in Rathmell Drive, Clapham.

Norton tweeted: "They found the car! Sadly it was due to the on-board tracker not Twitter."
