My affair with Becks

Rebecca Loos today piled further pressure on David Beckham as she robustly defended her decision to expose what she claims was a three-month affair with the England captain.

Wearing a green vest top and white trousers and looking tanned and relaxed, she said she felt no shame and was speaking because she could not live a lie. The 25-year-old former PA, interviewed at a secret location in Spain, said: "I'm 100 per cent sure of what I'm talking about. There's no doubt in my mind. I have no reason to lie. Why should I? These are the facts, this is what happened."

Ms Loos, who has been paid a six-figure sum by Sky television, added: "I shouldn't be ashamed of it. It was wrong and I was wrong to have done what I did, I

know that, but it did happen and I'm not going to live a lie for the rest of my life. I'm not trying to give an image of a fairytale, I'm just trying to be myself."

Beckham and Ms Loos - a linguist who worked for SFX, the sports management company which looked after the footballer - were first seen together at Madrid's Ananda nightclub.

When photographs were published of them chatting intimately, the Beckhams felt forced to issue a statement denying speculation that their marriage was in trouble.

But Beckham is said to have invited Ms Loos - the daughter of a Dutch diplomat and an English mother - up to his hotel room at the end of that night, where they reportedly had " highly charged and explosive sex" for several hours.

In her interview, to be screened on Sky One tomorrow night, Miss Loos said she was left feeling " breathless" and " very happy". "I was smiling," said the 25-year-old. "I got home and my mother asked me where I spent the night but she could just tell by the look on my face. She knew. I didn't have to tell her. She knew.

"She just said, 'I hope you have been careful and hope you know what you are doing. I will support you if you want, I'm your mother, if that's what makes you happy. But be very careful. You are putting your job on the line. There's a family involved, people can get hurt.' I was very aware of what I was getting myself into but I just couldn't stop it."

After rumours began circulating about their relationship Ms Loos, who claimed she had sex with Beckham on four occasions, was moved to other duties and in December she was made redundant. Beckham-also parted company with SFX and joined his wife's PR company instead.

The England captain is said to have not seen her since then. But the couple are alleged to have exchanged highly explicit text messages. When the story broke 10 days ago Beckham, 28, described Ms Loos's allegations as " ludicrous" and insisted that he was "very happily married".

As speculation on the Real Madrid star intensified, further revelations emerged from another woman who also claimed to have had a fling with the midfielder. Australian model Sarah Marbeck claimed Beckham had told her he loved her during their affair, which she said began after a chance meeting in 2001.

They are also claimed to have exchanged steamy text messages.

But today it was alleged she worked as a £400-an-hour escort girl, had an "insatiable" appetite for sex, and had had four-in-a bed sex sessions with a former lover. As stories on the internet claimed the Beckhams are expecting their third child, a former boyfriend of Ms Marbeck said she was "up for anything".

In a statement released yesterday, she said: "The reason I decided to go public with details of my relationship with David Beckham is because for two years my life was on hold while I waited for him."

"He said he loved me and I slept with the phone by my bed waiting for it to ring. Finally, I accepted my relationship with Beckham was over and decided to move forward with my life. But in that time my life changed forever." She also claimed that she was not a "celebrity-seeker".
