Midsummer in the market

What better way to celebrate the longest day of the year than with a spot of shopping in Covent Garden?

'Midsummer in the Market' is your opportunity to combine shopping, entertainment, food, drink and Shakespeare!

The event is sponsored by Ben & Jerry's and they will be keeping the crowds cool with their ice cream bus. Parked-up in the Piazza, all profits from the sales will go to charity.

As if that wasn't enough there's also the chance for shoppers to enter a free prize draw. Prizes include gift vouchers from Past Times,
an aromatherapy gift basket from Culpepper, pair of shoes and bag form
Moshulu, crystal portrait from 3D Crystal Images and children's goodies form
Hamleys and much more.

The entertainment will get under way from 12 pm and includes a special production of Midsummer Nights Dream.
