Lorry kills woman, 23, in Earl's Court Road

A 23-year-old woman was knocked down and killed by a lorry as she crossed a busy road in west London.

The woman was struck in Earl's Court Road in front of horrified onlookers yesterday afternoon. She was rushed to hospital but died soon after.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
