Kate's a model model

Supermodel Kate Moss has been named the world's bestdressed woman.

Turning 30 this year and becoming a mother have not prevented the catwalk queen from keeping up with the fads.

The British beauty topped Glamour magazine's annual best-dressed list.

Her friend, actress Sadie Frost - the April edition's cover girl - said: 'Kate always looks demure and sophisticated.'

Moss, who was second last year, toppled Ukrainian actress and model Milla Jovovich, 28, who slumped to 13th in the list.

Glamour hailed the Croydonborn Moss as Britain's answer to Carrie from hit TV show Sex And The City. 'Readers identify with her individual sense of style,' said the magazine. Actress Sarah Jessica Parker, 38, who played Carrie, rose 11 places to second spot.

She was influenced by the fashion-mad fictional sex columnist which she plays. Celebrity stylist Ken Ho said Parker 'used a quirky mix of styles to create a strong individual statement'.

Posh Spice Victoria Beckham may have failed to conquer the music charts, but the 28-year-old rose from 42nd to third in the style parade.

She ousted 35-year-old pop superstar Kylie Minogue, who plummeted to 26. Beyonce was fourth and Keira Knightley, of Pirates Of The Caribbean, fifth.
