Jordan: my big regrets

Panicky Jordan made a premature dash for sympathy votes on I'm A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here today - revealing her liposuction agony, torment over the death of two grandfathers and fears that her son Harvey will forget her while she is in the Queensland jungle.

The glamour model was close to tears as she opened her heart hours after Mike Read was the first contestant voted off by ITV viewers.

With four days to go until the end of the show, Jordan's revelations appeared to be a little premature as she is likely to be one of the last to leave.

That can only mean she is unaware of the public's support for her. Over the weekend, she pulled two belting tales out of the bag - that she had a fling with footballer Frank Lampard and plans a whole chapter about David Beckham in an " explosive" autobiography.

Today, she said her biggest regret was having surgery on her legs. She said: "I can't get to sleep. I get really cold. It is from when I had liposuction."

She dropped her trousers to show Razor Ruddock and Alex Best the tiny marks left by the surgery. She said: "It was stupid. Absolutely stupid. I didn't really have any fat anyway. If you look at my photos you cannot see any difference. If you are a bit obese it would probably work. "

Jordan, 25, then revealed she has lost both grandfathers in the past six months. She said: "I hope I didn't miss my grandad's funeral. Just before I came away he died. He was such a lovely bloke. He had a stroke."

She then said that she feared her blind son Harvey - fathered by footballer Dwight Yorke - will ignore her when she returns. She said: "I so want to see Harvey and give him a big hug." She asked Alex earnestly: "He won't have forgotten me will he? He might ignore me. I haven't ever been away from him this long."

The revelations come as her boyfriend Scott Sullivan vowed to fly out to Australia to "punch Peter Andre's lights out" for flirting with her. He told The Sun: "I don't like what's going on. I'm furious. Peter Andre is being disrespectful towards me. He knows Katie is not single and has a boyfriend."

Former athlete Diane Modahl is again favourite for the chop tonight on the show, which has helped ITV achieve its best viewing figures in three years.

The first week secured an average of 10 million viewers at 9pm, with almost 50 per cent of 16- to 34-year-olds tuning in. Digital channel ITV2 is also pulling in three million viewers for live round-the-clock updates.
