Homes and Property | Home PageInquiry into dinghy deaths tragedyElaine Galloway|Evening Standard13 April 2012An inquiry is under way today into how two British parents drowned when a rubber dinghy capsized in rough seas off Cyprus.Peter and Alison Rainey, from Dollar, near Stirling, died at Paphos, leaving their two children orphans.Mrs Rainey, 41, and son Callum, nine, had taken the dinghy out to sea and Falklands veteran Mr Rainey, 49, tried to rescue them when it overturned 100 metres from the beach.Callum survived and is today in "severe shock" in hospital.
