Myleene Klass's father likes to say that Hear'Say, the ill-fated pop band to which his daughter used to belong, was a bit like the Titanic: everyone was too busy dancing up on deck to see the iceberg coming. Klass, who is in the process of reinventing herself as a classical music star, flashes me a toothy grin. "This time around, I'm hoping for a nice, calm cruise," she says. "Being in Hear'Say is still the best thing that has ever happened to me - like being given a winning Lottery ticket - but it taught me a lot. The kiss-and-tells, the intrusion, finding out who your friends really are ... I'm only 25 but, sometimes, I feel like an old woman."
