Heathrow Hub has been set up by engineering firm Arup after the scheme gained cross-party public support from senior politicians in recent months. The new line would mean up to 30 million Heathrow passengers a year could travel on fast TGV-style trains between Heathrow and London, or northern destinations including Birmingham and Scotland.
