Here comes the sun

Londoners can expect the hottest day of the year so far today as temperatures soar to 29C.

Forecasters predict a hot, humid day, staying dry but muggy through the afternoon and evening.

Tomorrow will be clearer, with temperatures dropping to 24C, but it will remain dry with a light wind.

The weekend will be dry with plenty of sunshine, temperatures rising again to 25C on Saturday and 26C on Sunday.
