There is no minimum spend.If a cab doesn't happen to be passing, one can be ordered by phone. Tesco and Radio Taxis are launching the scheme for a four-week trial.The supermarket insists it is not a gimmick and that if it proves a success it will be extended nationwide.Spokesman David Page said: "It is a first from a UK retailer and is another way of making life easier for our London customers."At Tesco in Cromwell Road, shopper Sally Randolph, from Kensington, said: "It's a marvellous idea for anyone who has popped into the store on their way home from work and bought more than they planned."
