Another duff movie posing as a vehicle for a game, but unlike NYR, the outlook is not so promising. The game firmly adheres to RKC, the holy trinity of 3-D platformers: Running, Killing, Collecting, but doesn't push the boat out far enough to have anything new to say.
What it does have in its favour is the option to play as either Brendan Fraser's good guy or as the Mummy itself, each character having a totally separate story with different scenarios. But that whole two-games-in-one thing has to compensate for a general lack of imaginative gameplay and uninspired graphics. Like Brendan Fraser, it's a bit of a lummox. (NP)
