The new, improved Moto GP is a bit special. For the slightly soft-of-brain, you can start off gently but excitedly with the Arcade mode, making sure you keep the Simulation switch turned off. This is a great push'n'go game that even a dufus such as myself can come in a respectable fifth first time round (that's out of 21 riders).
Once you've mastered the basics, you can try it with the Simulation on, when suddenly the bike is a far more feisty creature, and if you don't take the corners exactly right, you'll find your arse bumping merrily along the ground with your bike 20ft ahead of you. Effectively Gran Turismo 3 on two wheels (I mean this in a good way), Moto GP 2 looks wonderful, plays supremely well and grows with you. It has longevity written all over it, with ten tracks (double the original), a good variety of 500cc monsters to play with, and different weather conditions - including rain. A truly solid racer. (NP)
