Flight mother in gun drama

A MOTHER mistaken for a terror suspect was held at gunpoint by police as she returned to get her daughter's toys from a plane at Gatwick.

Emma Goldman, 45, was surrounded by armed officers after she went back to the aircraft she had left minutes before with eight-year-old daughter Harriet. The single mother accidentally broke three emergency glass door seals and tripped security alarms.

Ms Goldman ended up in court. She said: "I really have been left shell-shocked and very scared." She was given a conditional discharge by magistrates at Crawley.
