Face of freezer suspect

This is the first picture of the man suspected of killing his wife and stacking her dismembered remains in the freezer.

An all ports and airports alert was issued for 34-yearold Paul Dalton wanted for questioning about the death of his Korean-born wife.

Tae Hui Dalton's remains were discovered at their ?500,000 Kingston home by Mr Dalton's father when he went to visit the couple and, finding no-one at home, let himself in.

He found them wrapped in plastic bags in the freezer.

Mr Dalton, who is English, is now being hunted by detectives.

He and the victim, believed to be 36, have been married for seven years and have a sixyearold daughter. Mr Dalton's father, who reportedly called the police after finding the body, was said to be receiving counselling. A post mortem was taking place at Kingston Mortuary today.

Police sealed off Woodside Road where the body was found and carried out a search of the house plus door-to-door inquiries. Forensic officers, clad in white suits, continued to work at the scene.

Detective Chief Inspector Nick Ephgrave, who is leading the murder hunt, said: "Police were alerted just after 10.05pm on Tuesday by a member of the public."

Mr Dalton's car was later discovered by police in Walton-on-Thames, Surrey, where it was believed his mother lived. A police source said: "We are extremely concerned to trace the man living at the address where the body was found. We urgently need him to come forward."

The body parts were removed from the house on a stretcher covered by a red blanket.

Neighbours said the couple kept themselves to themselves. One said: "We hardly saw them except to say hello. They seemed a nice couple."

A Scotland Yard spokesman said: "Members of the public are advised not to approach Paul, but to contact police. It is not thought he poses any danger to the public."
