The Ferrari 599 GTB hit a barrier, destroying its front. No other car was involved.Police are investigating the cause of the crash. Sources said the Manchester United winger was breathalysed but passed the test. Ronaldo, the European footballer of the year, was driving from his home in Cheshire to Manchester United's training complex. Witnesses said he immediately got out of the car, which is capable of up to 205mph.The crash was seen by United goalkeeper Edwin Van Der Sar, who was travelling behind in a Bentley. Ronaldo was later training as normal with the team.
