City boss suspended over office 'tango'

A boss at a City firm has been suspended after a woman staff member was allegedly knocked to the floor when he tried a "tango-style" dance move with her in the office.

Marcus Bolton, 45, chief executive at the New York office of bond traders Tullett Prebon, was reported to have taken part in post-lunch "high jinks" on the trading floor.

The woman complained and the firm, based in Bishopsgate, has launched an inquiry.

Mr Bolton, who has a home near Dorking and is said to be on £1.5 million a year, has been told to stay off work for up to three months. Today he was said to be in Cornwall. Tullett Prebon would not comment.
