Cheated wife uses web for revenge

A furious wife used the internet site FriendsReunited to dump her cheating husband before naming and shaming his lover.

The mother went on the website, seen by millions every day, to accuse her husband of secretly dating the other woman, who lived nearby, and to declare the marriage officially over.

Police are now investigating the case after the lover told them her name, phone number and address had been revealed on the site .

The wife, who accused the blonde lover of seeing the husband while she was Christmas shopping with her daughter, wrote: "I am married (but not for much longer) to the piece of **** called ***** *******. He had his details on this site, accompanied by a photograph of himself which was an extremely good likeness of the ugly ****."

The lover, speaking from her home near Leicester, said: "This is outrageous. The first I knew about it was when a friend phoned to tell me. I am furious and am consulting lawyers."

The message has now been removed by website owner Steve Pankhurst.

It is not the first time FriendsReunited, which has nearly five million members, has been involved in a love triangle.

A woman recently separated from her husband after meeting an old flame on the site.
