Candles and flowers for bride murdered on her honeymoon

Friends and family of Anni Dewani lit candles in her memory today, one year since she was shot dead on her honeymoon in Cape Town in an apparent car-jacking.

About 100 people attended a memorial at the Kadwa Patidar Centre in Harrow. Tea lights were arranged to spell out the 28-year-old's name in front of a photograph of her draped in flowers.

Her husband Shrien Dewani, 31, is due to be extradited to stand trial in South Africa accused of arranging her murder. He denies the charge.
