Burglars target Les and Amanda

Burglars have struck at the £2.5 million house of celebrity husband and wife Les Dennis and Amanda Holden.

The couple were at their Primrose Hill home during the break-in but were upstairs and at first not aware of the intruders.

Game-show host Dennis, 47, and actress Holden, 31, were only alerted when their dogs started barking at the thieves, who fled with items including home videos.

A spokesman for Dennis, presenter of Family Fortunes, said today: "Les and Amanda reported it to the police and have since upgraded their security quite extensively."

Holden, whose marriage to Dennis survived her wellpublicised affair with actor Neil Morrissey two years ago, last year played a highclass thief in the TV drama Now You See Her, and also appeared in Thief Takers. "We were shocked, but not surprised," Holden said of the burglary, which was three weeks ago.

"All you can do is your utmost to make sure it does not happen again."
