Burglar on the run after jail break

A serial burglar who admitted to breaking into more than 500 schools is on the run from a Kent prison.

John Beebe, 25, stole £251,000 worth of equipment from schools in London and the Thames Valley. He was sentenced to three years in March. Beebe, from Northolt, also received an anti- social behaviour order banning him from schools and colleges in England or Wales for five years.

He is described as white, 6ft tall and of slim build with a pockmarked face. He speaks with a London accent and has dark brown curly hair. Call Harrow police on 020 8733 3483 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
